A Graduate Program Coordinator (GPC) serves as a resource liaison between students, faculty, staff, and The Office of Graduate Studies. They can help answer questions about the admissions process, degree requirements, academic milestones, and are a main point of contact for faculty and current/prospective students.

Academic advisors are essential in providing graduate students with an excellent educational experience. They have program signature authority to approve certain forms, petitions and nominations of student committees. Academic advisors consult with students applying for admission, provide coursework and research mentor guidance for students prior to candidacy, and maintain contact with students after candidacy to ensure good progress and a working relationship with the research mentor.
